Invisible Messenger

Sunday Funday, after a day of shopping at the mall, i am finally sitting in the couch- my book ready to be finished and my blog, my new little baby, ready for an update.
My good friend, Mike, who is also helping me with said book, emailed me the following a couple nights ago and i felt like i should share. He is amazingly brilliant and a great poet.

a pane of glass peers silently forever
but the wind carries with it devils
they steal the power of this invisible messenger
and leave behind a blind shattered pile


below is a new canyon
its edges corroded with time
and everywhere there are slight changes
we are carried away into new skies


if there was ever a moment
when the slightest betrayal was seen
of the monumental truth of what holds us
then all sorrows would drown in the sea


so we dream, and we think we realize
that the images are just simply to be dreamed
but when there are evidences of our footsteps
we will see them again in the end
