Which cover do you like best?
or
Although the pose is the same (different angle) these pictures are completely different. One, obviously is cold, more somber... while the other one seems warm, and we get to see a little bit more of the story...?
Please leave your comment below, your help is GREATLY appreciated!
I prefer photos to graphic images - usually. If you could get that gal in the top pic to be sitting at the distance and angle of the bottom pick... then perfect.
ReplyDeleteHa ha. That didn't help at all, did it?
My vote is on the bottom one.

I like the second one better! It looks slightly more professional, if I may say that (: The model's hair in the first one looks a bit strange, like it's made of plastic.
ReplyDeleteThey are both very lovely, but if I had to pick one, I'd say the second one because it has more color and softer look.
ReplyDeleteThe second cover would make me pick up the book, for sure. I like the graphic and how it corresponds with the title.
ReplyDeleteI love the second cover!
ReplyDeleteLove the first cover!!
ReplyDeleteHi Lucy,
ReplyDeleteCame over here because of a tweet. :) Your blog seems pretty cool. I'm following now!
I like them both, honestly. They have two very different feels to them. But, given the title of the book, I think the second one works the best. The "feather" in the title makes me think of "light" and it just works more with the warmer colors and her white feathers. :)
The second.
ReplyDeleteHi Lucy :)I absolutely love the first one, really different & eye catching.
ReplyDeleteI really like the first one best. The photo is more compelling than the artwork. And the snow suggests loneliness.
ReplyDeleteI like them both but definitely the second one hun. Plus you'll have to change my blog background to incorporate a new cover if you change it! lol ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL at Keren, I like the first one, maybe because we haven't had much snow this year. But they both are great.
ReplyDeleteMy vote would be for the second one. As you said, it's warmer and I think that'll draw people to the book on seeing the image. That said, the first one is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteMy vote is definitely for the second one (though I like the first one as well).
ReplyDeleteOh wow they're both stunning covers, Lucy! I like the first one best though, because I love black and white for the way those contrasting colours create striking resonance.
ReplyDeleteYea, I like the bottom one.
ReplyDeleteI like the first one!
ReplyDeleteI like the first.
ReplyDeleteHey, Miss Lucy!
ReplyDeleteI think I like the second one the best. Have we helped you or are you going to have to flip a coin? Best two out of three?
Good luck and much success with it.
-Jimmy
I prefer the photo look, as in the first one, but I love the eerie forest misty backdrop in the second.
ReplyDeleteIf I were on amazon I'd click on the first cover more than the second cover.
And that's my 2 cents. (Speaking of coins.)
