Now, I understand everyone and their mother will be posting a blog about 9/11/01 today, but I couldn’t help to share my own.
I was a senior in high school when it happened. We all rushed out of first period (Algebra) unkowingly and found that all the other classrooms had their T.V’s on. I walked in to History class and saw what was playing in the little box bolted to the ceiling. It was heart-rending. Like everyone else, at first, when the first airplane went through the building we thought it was an accident, but when we (the world) saw the second one do the same in live T.V, then the world did stop spinning.
It was a tragedy that was known to be coming and still was not prevented. I am not here to blame anyone but instead, remember such tragedy with pictures and a video of that day. As the wife of a Fire Fighter I want to remind everyone to please remember those courageous ones, like Mike Kehoe below, who while everyone was running out of the burning towers he willingly went up to save others. Luckily, Kehoe made it out safely, but six men from his tower never made it out at all.
Let’s all remember, not just today but every day. Of those we have lost, those who live tormented by it and those who did this to us.
God bless us all!

This was such a hard anniversary for me. Thank you for remembering those lost.
